Antibacterial Fabrics

Another interesting import from China has been clothing, sheets and towels that use silver nanotechnology to give them antibacterial properties. One of our first customers experimented with this concept and continues to import from China with our help.

 

 

 

 

Emergency Kit

A local Rotary club is helping victims of disasters by sending them an emergency kit containing a selection of basic items such as needle and thread, paper and pen, torch, mirror, pocket-knife, etc. In fact 700 of these kits were sent to victims of the Melbourne bushfires earlier this year. China Procurement sourced a manufacturer in China that could make the special kit bag and also sourced the product to go in it and helped this club to import from China.

 

 

 

 

 

Bamboo Cutting Boards

A market stallholder recently purchased a 20′ container of bamboo chopping boards. China Procurement saved him over 20% off his previous import from China. We achieved this through negotiating a better price, but mainly in showing him how he could reduce shipping and landing charges by purchasing a full container load instead of only 70% of a container load. It actually ended up costing him less for a full container than it would have cost him for his original order

 

 

 

Fashion Jewelry and Handbags

Another of our early clients was a distributor of Fashion Jewellery and Handbags. Many Chinese companies offer an immense variety of handbags.
